Esther Oosterhouse has been teaching Suzuki piano lessons in Grand Rapids for 12 years. She is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and the NFMC and MFMC, also serving as State Gold Cup Chairman for Michigan. Because she is an active member of the St. Cecilia Music Center in Grand Rapids, her piano students gain the experience of performing in the Junior Music Clubs and learning from professional guest musicians. Her students also have the opportunity to participate in the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival, which Esther helps organize, and earn points toward gold cups.

Esther Neil has been the recipient of the Lucille Dinsmore Intermediate Scholarship and the Christopher James Zeman Scholarship and has placed in the Piano Teachers' Forum Competition two separate years. She has received top ratings at the Sonata-Sonatina festival for 6 years. In addition, she participated in NFMC Festival for 7 consecutive years and received all superior ratings in both concerto, piano solo, and musicianship events. She has performed at ArtPrize playing fiddle music with ensemble groups from her community and has performed as a soloist for the residents of Porter Hills retirement community.
Her advanced repertoire includes Minuets 1 & 2 and Gigue from the Partita in B-flat by Bach, Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor Op. 16 Mvt. 2, Mendelssohn Piano Concerto in G minor Op. 25, Tcherepnin Bagatelle No. 10, Gershwin Prelude II (Blue Lullaby), O Polichinelo by Villa-Lobos, Witches' Dance by MacDowell, Maple Leaf Rag by Joplin, Rachmaninoff Prelude in C-sharp minor, Rachmaninoff Prelude in G minor, Beethoven Sonata in C-sharp minor Op.27, No.2, and the Fantasie-Impromptu by Chopin.
